COVID-19 Communication

9/1/2020

Our thoughts go out to all our Rescar/AllTranstek families that have been impacted by Hurricane Laura or who have friends or families that have been affected. If there is anyone you know who needs help, please let your supervisor know.

It is very important as we head into the end of summer with the Labor Day weekend approaching that everyone take a few minutes to remember the things that helped us get to this point in relatively good condition.

Individual Responsibility Matters

How we individually behave when out in public is crucial to being able to remain safe and healthy. Whether at work or out in your neighborhoods, your personal decisions and actions are things that you can control and that will help ensure your safety and those around you. The best thing you can do is to remain diligent and follow the key safe practices:
  • Washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing is the single most important thing you can do.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Avoid close contact with people, especially anyone who appears sick, by remaining 6’ apart.
  • Wear a mask when out in public any time you are inside of a building or store and where you cannot maintain 6’ distance.

Be Proactive and Observant

Whether you are invited to a friend’s or invite friends over or go to a public park or beach, take the time to think through how you can make it a fun but safe time for everyone. Here again, a few simple things can go a long way:
  • Follow your state’s current re-opening guidelines with respect to the size of group gatherings allowed.
  • Be on the “look out” for people around you who are not being responsible and move away or avoid interacting with them.

Most importantly, please drink responsibly and DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE OR BOAT!
I am so grateful for everything you have all done these last few months. Thank you, have fun, be safe.
